Mini Suite
My name is Jackson, and Mini Suite is a collection of Windows tools I built out of frustration.
I've been making websites for 3+ years, and Mini Suite is where
I started branching into software.
It began with Mini Converter, a tool for quickly converting
files between format, something I'd always relied on random websites to do. Then came
Mini Compressor, which grew out of wanting to shrink Mini Converter's icons as much as possible.
As I run into more things I wish Windows just did on its own, I'll add them here.
Questions & Answers
Is Mini Suite really free?
Yes. Every tool is completely free with no ads, no accounts, and no paywalls. If you'd like to support development, there's a Donate page, but it's entirely optional.
Do my files ever get uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs locally on your machine using open-source libraries. Your files never leave your computer, and nothing is sent to a server.
Do I need admin privileges to install?
No. Mini Suite tools install and run without administrator privileges.
What operating systems are supported?
Windows 10 and Windows 11 are officially supported. The tools may work on older versions, but your mileage may vary.
Are there any file size or count limits?
None. There are no size limits, and you can convert or compress multiple files at a time.
Will there be more tools in the future?
Absolutely. As I find more things I wish existed natively in Windows, I'll build them and add them to Mini Suite.
